Terms of Service

The plain-language terms that govern using makertoo.com and the Hub product.

Last updated 10 July 2026

Overview

These terms govern your use of makertoo.com and the Hub product, operated by MakerToo, Copenhagen, Denmark. By using either, you agree to them. If your organization has a separate signed agreement with MakerToo, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

The service

The Hub is a self-hosted CRM, outreach, bookings, and analytics platform. We host and operate it for you (or provide it as a dedicated deployment for enterprise customers — see Security), keep it updated, and back it up.

Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Organization owners and admins control who on their team has access, and can require two-factor authentication for the whole team (see Authentication).

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to access another organization's data or bypass tenant isolation;
  • upload unlawful content, or content you don't have the rights to use;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the service.

Fees & billing

Fees are as agreed with your organization at signup or in your service agreement. Invoicing runs through Wise (payment processing) and a self-hosted invoicing system we operate ourselves — see Subprocessors.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the data and content you put into the service. MakerToo retains ownership of the platform itself, its code, and its design.

Data & privacy

How we handle personal data is covered in our Privacy Policy and, for organizations that need one, our Data Processing Agreement.

Availability

We run nightly backups with quarterly, timed restore drills (see Backups & disaster recovery) and monitor the service continuously. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access by default — if your contract requires a formal uptime commitment, ask and we'll discuss one.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by Danish and EU law, MakerToo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

Either party may terminate as agreed in your service agreement, or with reasonable written notice where none exists. On termination, you can request an export of your organization's data before it's deleted from our systems.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
